Taken. I really didnt want to watch it as first cause human trafficking bums me out but damn Liam kicked butt all the way through the movie. I might have laughed a couple of times when he killed some people. He was unstoppable.

Blah, blah, blah… now go get some pussy.

That movie was depressing as hell.  But Liam is da man for sure, I love his acting.  my only concern is that he's beginning to turn into the "Morgan freeman" of the film industry, as in, is it possible to have just too much of a good thing?

Last movie I saw was some Lesbian movie about…hmm.."Kate's Addiction" I'm terrible with names, but it was about 90 minutes of BS and 5 minutes of "wait this could be turning a corner here!" moments…this misguided zeal was quickly squashed by the last 20 minutes of the movie which was epic fail.  Actresses were hot though…so why give us only a token sex scene?  and while drunk and high no doubt. pfft.  This was sorta the low budget version of Chloe. (note the clever tie in with Liam again)

it was depressing and that is why i had shied away from it for so long and i did the same with Girl with the dragon tattoo cause it also had a lot of depressing themes but after a while i relented and it turned out to be such a good movie.

Blah, blah, blah… now go get some pussy.

"The Kings Speech"

This somehow was added to my netflix cue, probably because I saw the movie trailer at some point and it seemed interesting.  I tend to add things to my cue and then weeks later when it arrives I wonder who put that on my cue?

Being an American I wasn't aware of this bit of history pertaining to the British Monarchy.  The movie was good, I liked it because I like history, and of course the acting was top notch with Cilin Firth, Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham Carter.  Not a typical fim venture for me as straight drama often ends badly, but I was glad I watched it.

Friends With Benefits. I thought I wouldn't like this movie at all, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Some mid 90's lesbian movie called "When Night falls"  I think that was the title..actually liked it alot more than I thought I would.  The main actress with the french canadian accent was omfg delicious.  My only problem with this movie was how they tried to end it…it seemed that at about 17 minutes out they lost all notion of just what to do next and figured lets toy with a possible tragic ending…which seemed completely out of place for the movie, but anyway, other than that bit it was good, and the whole dead dog side story was brilliant!  If you turned this off when the credits started to roll you missed a "wtf?" moment, but in a good way.  I also thought this movie gave a fair portrayal of the church and how they wrestle with the issue of sexual orientation within it's ranks.

"Black Death" with Sean Bean. It's decent, in a popcorn-movie sense, but totally not worth buying or watching a second time.

Last movie in theatres was "Cowboys & Aliens" and I went purely for Olivia Wilde. I was thrilled that her character was the only one with any real development. But it was disappointing that she was also the only character I was emotionally attached to by the end.

I only just watched Unknown and Machete.

Unknown was great and Machete was silly but fun.

I do want to see what all the fuss with the Dragon Tattoo business is about. Although, I'd read the book first preferably… whatever

I saw war horse a couple weeks ago and SHEESH it was good. I definitely recommend it, and im not usually into war-type movies (unless of course someone suggested a xena movie. DUH.) Be prepared to be depressed literally for the rest of your day thereafter. I also just recently saw sherlock holmes 2 and it was SOOOOO good, i was honestly really surprised. I had never given the first one a chance because I hate movies where british people talk fast. go see it!

Forbidden Planet (1958)

Just randomly bumped into it cause I was actually looking for the geek shop called Forbidden Planet. I ended up on the IMDb page of this film, downloaded and started watching. The retro effects make me lawl. It amused me.
