I'm not a big fan of platformers, but most of the time you are given enough tools that the jumps are pretty doable ... every once in awhile you'll run into a jump that takes you a dozen tries to get, but thankfully the game autosaves often, so you don't lose much time when you die. (though it's horrible when the jump you can't make is the last in a sequence and every time you die you start at the beginning again; by the time I managed a few of those jumps I could have done the entire sequence prior to them with my eyes closed) I loved this game, loved the original as well.
