Hello,
I'm a blogger, gamer, activist, reader, writer, jack of all trades, master of none.
I was sitting here on my couch playing some God of War (I've been on a bit of a marathon since I picked up the collection a while back), when I realized that I've got this great machine, but no one to enjoy online gaming with!
I am married with two step-kids, so I'm not looking for anything naughty. Just good ole' fun 'n games.
Hit me up sometime for chats,
dante.

Welcome to the forum dante.deville! :D
I'd like to have a little more detail on your gamer profile (Basically: What is your game, what's your console and do you play on PC?)
I would also like to know a little what is it that you're an activist? (I already have an idea because of your website, but I am curious, so…)

Hey there! Thanks for posting in return! I'll update the profile to be more specific, but to answer your questions here, I am a huge fan of a lot of the classic RPG games: Final Fantasy, Castlevania, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil. I've only just recently branched out to the God of War series (and boy am I glad that I did!).
Honestly, a slight confession, but I just recently purchased a PS3. I've had a PSP for YEARS, then I bought the Wii a few years ago, and now I have the PS3 as well.
Ummmm, did I mention I'm a Sims addict! *lol*
As for the activism piece, I am pro social equality in general. I am pro lgbt rights, racial justice, women's rights, etc. I'm also really big into organic farming and sustainable agriculture. These are hot-bed issues in the United States, where I call home.
What about you? Where are you from? What games do you enjoy? Are you involved in any local issues where you're from?

@dante.deville: Most of your questions should have a response if you go see my topic of presentation that I put a link in my profile.
But I'll still answer your three last questions so far. I am currently in a City of a region of the province of Quebec in Canada, The City is far from great, but it's bigger than my hometown. Anyway, this is not the greatness of the city that I look at the most, so…
For my gamer profile, I am currently a gamer who plays more games on PC are independent or are lower Blockbuster. I have a Wii and a DSi, but I hardly touch these days. So, consider me as a gamer who plays mainly on the PC.
For the last question, besides the fact that you could perhaps answer your topic in my presentation (I send you out there mainly because I do not want to repeat several times what I have said before), I 'm not sure how to respond. In any case, I would still like you explain what you want to know, because I do not fully understand the question (The English language is not my native language, so…).

Hey I'm on Steam, too! Do you mind if I add you to my buddy list? I've downloaded a few games on there, but again I don't have any friends who enjoy online gaming. I'd love to play more PC games.
Also, you're right. Your profile did answer most of my questions. With regards to the activism, I was just wondering if there was any social issue that was particularly important to you in your neck of the woods. Canada seems so much more progressive than the United States, however I have never lived there …

@dante.deville: In terms of Steam: There is no problem that you add me to your list of friends of course. ^_^
In terms of Canada, I'd just give you a big bad news: some days ago there was a federal election that gave results as a Conservative government with a majority, which mean that the government has 100% power (or, if you prefer better, this government has the last word) and we will have to live with this for 4 years. One might think that this is not the same kind of conservatism found among those in the U.S., but in reality it is practically the same mentality, and perhaps worse. If you do not believe me, know that the Conservative government from 2006 until 2011, in a minority government, has managed to remove, in the guides for immigrants, the rights to homosexual and other stuff that still deserves that you do a search. Also note that the Prime Minister of this government, Stephen Harper, is regarded by many as the George W. Bush of Canada with reason, because he relies heavily on the war such as Afghanistan.
Anyway, To learn more, start here

Wow … that's crazy … man … what's the world coming to … ? I mean, you would think people would want room to breathe, move, explore, and be themselves. Fear makes us all do the strangest things …

Fear is a delusion to make us believe we are in agony and it offers us to end our suffering by the obedient. Maybe I panic a little, but it remains that there is not much in the policies of this government that can make me a little optimistic. But that does not make me pessimistic so far, simply because I do not want to end up with a Conservative government for the rest of my days (or even for the next four years). In any case, already the region where I come from is not a gift, I will have to endure a government that is the opposite of my ideas.
