If you need another reason to like/give a listen to Killola, if you've watched any of the web series, Girltrash, you'll know the lead singer of the band, Lisa Rieffel aka the blonde main character. I cannot stress how much I love their music, even their slower songs like It's Alright and Traffic. Then to top it off, you have the very brash songs like Bitch and I Wanna See Your Dick, which you think would squick a girl that likes girls out but I end up laughing every time! Lisa is quite the character and if you ever have the opportunity to see them live, you will be as entertained by her stage presence every bit that you will love the wonderful and amazing things she can do with her voice.

My personal favorite song of theirs, Limb From Limb. I was thrilled to see Hunter Valentine would be performing in SF again so I jumped to get tickets right away but hadn't heard of VT before so I browsed their MySpace page and fell in love with Limb From Limb as soon as I heard it. Have been spreading their musical gospel to anyone that'll let me recommend music to them since. :3 And c'mon, how can you not love a girl band where the lead singer uses a KEYTAR?! XD

Sounds like: a less punk rock, more alt/hard rock Distillers x Black Lab? ^^; Also a bit like a less bluesy Cliks?

All I know is that both times I've seen them, my neck is sore the next day from dancing and headbanging to their music. Can't go wrong with their rockin' tracks when doing highway driving/roadtripping.
