So I'm sure there are petitions that we all come across that we'd like people to participate in if the cause seems worthy. I'd like to start a forum thread for the many soapboxes we want to shout out from and demand justice for.

The link leads to a petition that asks that several McDonalds employees be held accountable for not only their inactions, but their CHEERING ON, while a trans woman was beaten to the point of having seizures by three young women because she wanted to use the restroom. The article itself was upsetting but watching the video just ENRAGED me. It is so saddening and disappointing to see 3 black women terrorizing a person for being who they are, when the same would've happened to them only 60 years ago. Hell, it could STILL happen to them today were they to wander into the wrong part of the country. What made them thing they had ANY right to do such a thing is beyond me. With all that humanity has accomplished…stupid, ignorant and HATEFUL things like this still occur.

I implore you all to try to stomach watching the video, and if you feel that those employees should be held accountable for more or less aiding and abetting the attack of an innocent person, please sign the petition. Thank you.
