It’s not often we see a piece about female gamers, written by (or in this case spoken by) a guy and think they’ve got it pretty much exactly right. Generally their will be certain assumptions made that will somewhat water down the viewpoint and lead to the “girl gamers” love of gaming being brought into question in one manner or another. Enter Daniel Floyd, ‘aspiring character animator’ and video lecture series writer. A lot of you may well already be aware of Daniel’s series, but I wasn’t until this week and I read and write about video games almost every day, so, for those like me who may have missed his stuff, I’m posting his video titled “Girl Gamers Video Games and the Female Audience”. Watch it, it’s good stuff, because Daniel get’s “it” (with notes by Leigh Alexander).
Thanks to “CoolGame” for the heads up.
Just a small clarification, but it is not *Matheiu* but “Coolgame17″.
Otherwise, I knew that this video could you interested.
Nice video coolgame17
Unfortunately, even if there are exceptions, i don’t think women and gaming is the industry’s top priority… I guess changes take time…
