ModNation Racers release date and Sony character racers

We’re looking forward to ModNation Racers, because it’s just so darn cute! (yeah talk about being sucked into the ‘girl gamer’ stereotype, but we bet lots of guys agree!). Add to the cuteness with the fact the game – a kart racer – features user-generated content and sharing and this could be great. Here’s hoping the playability lives up to the aesthetics. Now for the ‘Virtual Crap‘ announcement: Yes that’s right, dependent on where you pre-order the game you’ll get some cute – recognizable – characters, including God of War’s Kratos in his Kart of Chaos (Gamestop), Ratchet and Clank (Amazon) and Nathan Drake (Best Buy). ModNation Racers releases for both PSP and PS3 on May 25.
