With excitement building and Crystal Dynamics themselves telling us it’s “important to note that we’re working on 2 projects
LCatGoL is new and different (and full of win)”, we’re pretty excited about the new Tomb Raider game – sans Tomb Raider – Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. New screens and more info has come to light via GameSpot, so we thought we’d update you on what it’s all about. Firstly it’s listed for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, so that’s good. It will also be “an arcade-inspired action romp with a fixed isometric camera and a focus on high scores and replay value” according to the article. You’ll also have a sidekick in the form of Totec, a Mayan tribesman. It has to be said, this one looks interesting, a new take on the Tomb Raider franchise might take a lot of people by surprise, but it sounds more like this may be a bit of filler between actual Tomb Raiding titles. You can check out the full article, including some screenshots at GameSpot UK.
