Apple iSlate invites go out?
A lot of lesbians love their Apple products (okay at least 80% of the ones I hang with anyway), so for that reason this is big news. That rumored “iSlate” looks like it’s edging ever closer to reality. Invitations have gone out to the press inviting them to come see Apple’s “latest creation”. Given the Wall Street Journal let the cat out of the bag on this one a few weeks ago, there’s really no big shocker (the shock would be if it wasn’t the iSlate). Who else is looking interestingly at this thing, it could mean a whole new world of touch screen gaming, not to mention ebooks, comics, anime etc.

Whilst I think that the ‘iSlate’ will be a very cool bit of gear, I’m not sold yet on what gap it’ll fill in the average gadget grrl’s daily life. Laptop replacement? iPod replacement? Dunno. Once the WOW has gone, will the slate be touched anymore?
