Assassin’s Creed 2 DLC info – Bonfire of the Vanities and Battle for Forli

If you are enjoying Assassin’s Creed II as much as us, or indeed finished it, you’ll be hankering for that DLC. We’ve got all the lovely details for you right here. The Battle for Forli is released in January and will help fill in Ezio’s DNA sequence (this could go on and on couldn’t it) at a cost of around $4USD. This will fill in DNA sequence 12 and give Ezio six new memories. To fill in DNA sequence 13 you’ll need the Bonfire of the Vanities DLC in February at a cost of around $5USD. This DLC will unlock a new section in Florence, a new move (the spring-jump) and yet more memories. We’ll be getting the DLC when it arrives, even though it does feel a little like you’re being ripped off given these really should have been included in the game itself. Oh well.

Battle of Forli was awesome. It had lots of combat and Katerina Sforza’s dialog is hilarious. It’s worth the cost of admission just to hear her insults.

I was less impressed with Bonfire of the Vanities. It was just a bunch of repetitive assassination missions. Some of them were frustrating and seemed to hinge more on randomness (haystacks) than skill or timing.
