If this story has any sort of positive angle, it&#039;s that a lot of us expressed outrage in a variety of ways (blogs, social networks, email, etc.), and it resulted in Infinity Ward removing the video.
I&#039;m hoping, but not holding my breath, that this incident will encourage more self-reflection the next time a dev thinks of posting such a thing. My cynical side says these are calculated promotional tactics meant to provoke ire for publicity, but I&#039;d love to be wrong about that. The increasing frequency of this sort of thing lately makes me think cynicism is probably the right attitude to maintain. Too bad.
