Charlie Brooker’s Gameswipe on BBC – Good Stuff

BBC Four in the UK just aired a show about video games by Charlie Brooker (journalist / comic writer). If you missed it we’re highlighting it here for a couple of reasons. Firstly it was entertaining and secondly it’s still on YouTube before being yanked off (at time of writing), so we’re including a link to part one below. Brooker takes a satirical look at video games, whilst having a jab at the mainstream medias coverage of our hobby. For the most part it’s educating and amusing, though Brooker sadly does little to dismiss the anti-social / violent stigma attached, since he mainly concentrates on uber-violent titles, which is a shame.
