New Buffy movie – Whedon hopes it doesn’t suck

Okay so “doesn’t suck” was a pun, there I admit it. Of course it will suck, on a couple of levels, one being vampire suckage and two being you can’t re-boot Buffy without Buffy and the scooby gang!! Whedon’s actual words were “I hope it’s cool”, well don’t we all, but I’m not feeling it.

Fran Rubel Kazui owns rights to Buffy and thinks a re-boot using none of the cast of the TV show and no Mr Whedon is a good move. Well here’s the thing, Kazui directed the Buffy The Vampire Slayer movie… and how’d that turn out?

I’m torn, how about you? I mean the Star Trek re-boot was actually pretty good…. what do you think?
