So who watched the final episode – ever – of Battlestar Galactica? Who thought it was a fitting end and who thought it left too many things unanswered? The jury is in and it seems a lot of people – like me – truly loved the end of the series, whilst others were annoyed at the Starbuck cessation.
Personally I thought it was all very fitting (without going into spoiler territory for those that may not have watched yet). Battlestar Galactica has meant many things to many people, but for me it was a genre changing series that deserved more plaudits than it has ever gained. The cast was astounding and the story – for the most part – was great, deep, emotional, terrifying, beautiful and more. (Emmy please!).

I was very happy with the ending of BSG. It answered just enough questions and gave a nice sense of resolution. Going in I said to myself, “Don’t wish for happy endings just hope that Racetrack and Tory make it out alive”. Somehow, despite my mantra, I still enjoyed the ending because Racetrack totally kicked ass. I still don’t think Tory desevered to die, but all well, that’s what I get for being attached to minor characters I guess.

I thought the ending was pretty damned cool even though I was a bit confused by Starbuck vanishing (was she a projection?) and Dr. Gaius looking like a total douche in modern day Earth.
