Mass Effect 2 will be darker than Mass Effect

A little news on Mass Effect 2 is better than no news at all. Sadly it’s not word of a full on lesbian commander saving the universe and getting funky with someone that isn’t considered ‘male and female’. Word has it Mass Effect 2 will be a much darker affair than its predecessor.

Lead designer Preston Watamaniuk states: “In the second game, you’re going to go through a darker period where you’re really looking for answers,” – “There are a lot of twists and turns, and it’s generally a much darker experience.” Sounds cool, oh and you should be able to play your saved characters from Mass Effect in Mass Effect 2.
