Batwoman is a lesbian and she’s taking over from Batman

When we covered Batwoman’s de-closeting way back in June last year, there was also mention then of Batwoman getting her own share of the bat spotlight. Well it seems that time has come and judging from the feedback at io9, it’s not all that welcome.

The site has a piece on Batwoman taking over Detective Comics. It’s not even her sexuality that seems to be an issue (for a change), but rather her replacement of the caped crusader.
