The original Lara Croft as a Vampire, Major and ass kicker – Rhona Mitra

With gaming news thin on the ground so far this week (to say the least!), we’re stealing a post from sister site Lesbian Geek. Well it is gaming related so we think that’s okay. Someone is “crushing on Rhona Mitra” and thinks “she should be hailed as one cool, kick ass female action hero and make more action movies”.

Rhona Mitra you may be aware is actually the original action girl, since she was the original Lara Croft. Add to this her recent role as sword swinging Sonja in “Underworld: Rise of the Lycans” and the gun toting Eden Sinclair in “Doomsday” and you’ve got one awesome action actress.

Here’s hoping Rhona gets to play the ass kicking action chick some more. Rumor has it she might even be Catwoman in the next Batman film and lord knows it would have to be better than the Halle Berry version.
