Hellblazer’s lesbian character Anthea – She’s only in it for the sperm

There’s nothing quite like appealing to the male idea of what a lesbian is and it seems the comic book writer of Hellblazer has his own ideas. Those ideas seem to revolve around the idea that a “lesbian” will sleep with a man to use him as a sperm bank, essentially. Now maybe it’s just all the lesbians I’ve ever known that think this, but come on! I’ve not met one lesbian who would even entertain the thought, ya see sleeping with men, kind of negates the fact you’re a lesbian. Borrow from a friend maybe, but actually do the deed?

Sure Bette and Tina tried it on didn’t they (but Tina had her whole guy thing, so I’m not sure that even counts), so maybe there are those that would do so, but actually sleeping with the dude… kinda unlesbish. Anyways you can see a full article on the comic in question at CBR.
