The Timothy Plan – Helping parents sort the good games from the queer ones!

One of our commenters brought this to our attention a few days back and we forgot to post it (oops!). What we have here is The Timothy Plan a conservative christian firm that has gone to the trouble of putting out a flyer warning parents about “offensive” video games.

One of the categories for “offensive” is of course “gay/lesbian”. We know it’s a serious issue, but the thing that really stood out to us in this is the fact some good little christian has sat and – allegedly – played all these games and listed the content. Funnier still are the rundowns on this content and the scoring system used to rate all the games on the list, including GTA IV, Fable II, BioShock and more.

These people amaze me every time they do something GP finds newsworthy. It’s funny how they don’t realize that what they’re doing is wildly inappropriate and offensive.

This kind of thing really offends me. I don’t have any kids, but if I did I would not be looking to people like this to help me choose what is right and wrong for them.
    Very annoying and extremely inappropriate.
