PETA utilize Cooking Mama for campaign – Mama Kills Animals

If you like “Cooking Mama” you might want to avert your eyes. PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) are using Mama and her evil cooking ways to highlight the problems of, well.. eating turkey at Thanksgiving and general animal welfare issues.
PETA state: “She looks innocent enough—a happy woman who has a twinkle in her eye and loves to cook—but if you take just a minute to think about what happens to the animals who are killed for Mama’s meals, a fun cooking game no longer seems quite so innocent.”
We did have their game linked directly here, but given it had no volume / mute control and was highly annoying, we now just have to direct link to them. Check out Cooking Mama at PETA.

What about the animals that are killed for Vegan/Vegetarian meals? Moles, Voles, Rats, Rabbits, Gophers etc are all killed during the harvesting process of almost every root vegetable there is. Organic labels might ensure that food is grown in a way that appeals to PETA-heads but it doesn’t have anything to do with the way that food is gathered or shipped.
This wasn’t that good a game. I found the controls were a little stiff and it didn’t respond to my mouse movements as quickly as possible. I give this game, along with the PETA campaign, a Jenny rating.
Well, that was equal parts disturbing and fun. I’ll never look at Cooking Mama and turkeys the same way ever again!
ugh, peta again. last time they used mario were the main character was a chicken. still doesn’t convince me to stop eating meat. hell whats up with the protests were they use nude models to try and convert people to stop eating meat? that one just doesn’t make any sense to me. seen the video’s, read the reports, still eating meat. i call it murder when im the one putting the knife to the cows neck. im just eating the corpse. if anything, vegans are to blame for global warming, they’re the ones that are eating all the damn plants.
