BrainyGamer is a blog about and podcast devoted to video games and the community of gamers. The thing that sets BrainyGamer apart from other gaming blogs is the thoughtful manner and academic slant our good chum Michael brings to proceedings.

ThumbBandits: Thumb Bandits.com

Thumb Bandits is a site that since 2004 has been run (and continues to be run) by female gamers. Unlike some female gaming sites, Thumb Bandits has always been about inclusivity and sports a mixed and large readership. They are also the minds behind ‘The Vagina Gamerlogues’ which will cross over to Lesbian Gamers in late 2008.
