L Word Game Rating System

Video Game Ratings… we’ve decided here at Lesbian Gamers not to use the old ‘out of 10′ game rating system. There are no scores, just end of review ratings based on common lesbian themes.

L Word Rating System

Lesbian Gamers will use our very own formulated and precise L Word game rating system. You won’t see any scores out of 10, you won’t see any A through F school grading system either. Each review will end with one or two L Word character review lines that will give you an indication of how the game is. This will work in conjunction with the full body of the review to let you know how the game is.

Why No Scores?

We’ve decided not to use number / grading scores because we’re all different, what might be a 9 to one gamer, might only be a 7 to another. We feel not scoring games will actually lead to a more well rounded review and using our patented (haha) L Word scoring system will be more precise / amusing for our readership.

Below you will find examples of the sorts of ratings we’re talking about. They will make more sense if you’ve seen The L Word and we are sort of assuming you will have given it’s the only TV series with a full lesbo cast. That said, even if you haven’t seen The L Word the reviews are written so you will still get what the rating means overall.

Betty – You know what this is… utter crap, you could well do without.

Mangus – Great at the beginning but will eventually let you down in the end.

Helena Peabody – This had a big budget but it might have done better with a smaller budget and a bit more love.

Second Season Bette Porter – It’s controlling and classy but begins to unravel the more it plays out.

Soup Chef Lara Perkins – Cute and Dorky but there’s a lot more to it the more you play with it.

Papi Torres
– Wants to be cool, but is actually so silly it will probably disappear to the budget rack and no one will question or notice.

Shane McCutcheon – You’ll either love it or you’ll hate it.

Alice Pieszecki – It’s cute, smart and has depth. A quirky winning formula.

Carmen de la Pica Morales – It’s hot, fun and should never be left at the alter / games shelf.

Season 3 Jenny Schecter – It’s mad, bad and will taze ass in the right circumstances. It will have you loving / hating / loving it. your head will spin.

Viewer / Reader Suggestions!

Kit – Has a great track record in the past, but is totally underutilized in this version.

Ivan – You get the game thinking it is one thing, but it turns out to be something quite different.

Peggy – This game starts out giving you everything, no questions asked, and then unexpectedly pulls the rug out from under you. It is not very forgiving.
Phyllis – Annoying, inconsistent, and ridiculous.
