Anna Torv in J.J. Abrams Fringe & lesbian connections

So here’s a bit of a muddled lesbian gamer & geek connection (making this is a cross post between lesbiangamers.com and lesbiangeek.com). Here’s the geek link… J.J. Abrams (he of Alias and LOST fame) is making a new show called Fringe. It kind of sounds like The X-Files and focuses on a young female FBI agent working with a male scientist as they investigate unexplained phenomena.

Here’s the gaming link. Young FBI agent Olivia Warren (changed to Dunham prior to filming) is being played by Anna Torv, who in turn played Nariko in the wonderful PS3 title Heavenly Sword. Here’s the lesbian link… Anna Torv also played Alex in recent BBC series Mistresses and Alex was.. dun dun duhhh… a lesbian. Whew. As if all that lesbian connection wasn’t enough apparently the song playing in the Alex clip below is “I Melt with You” which appeared in cute lesbian film Love and Other Catastrophes, which starred Radha Mitchell who was also a lesbian in High Art.. and she’s Australian.. like Anna Torv… Whew part deux. In our final lesbian connection… yes that is actress Shelley Conn in the clip below too, she played Nina in lesbian movie Nina’s Heavenly Delights… ahh and relax!

You can check out Anna Torv / Nariko / as Alex in Mistresses in the clip below.
