Halo 3 – The Bette Porter of Live games

Yes Halo 3 is back on top of the Xbox Live activity listing after being flung off by Activision’s Call of Duty 4 for a short period of time (Call of Duty 4 being like the Henry of gaming.. you know what we’re saying don’t you L Word fans). Halo 3 is like some power dyke that can’t bear to be underneath anything else.

What Halo 3 players really need is a Jodie to come along and shake things up a little, take Bette by the hands and say “No Bette no, I am in control now and there’s not a damn thing you can do about it”. Seriously, when will Halo’s choke hold over Live end, don’t people get bored of doing the same thing over and over… maybe everyone is ‘gaming monogamous’ and Halo is their bitch… ya think? Yeah we know, we way prefer TiBette to JoBette, so who can blame these Halo 3 lovers really.

   I hear that one. I used to play with a great bunch of gals and they all now play next to nothing but Halo.
   It’s a total borefestival.

   You contradict yourself in this post. First you say that gamers should be playing other games besides Halo 3, and then you conclude with the fact that, using your own comparisions regarding the Tina/Bette relationship versus the Jodi/Bette relationship, you prefer a controlling, dominating, and arguably abusive relationship to one that is more equal (“we way prefer TiBette to JoBette”).

   I don’t think this post was about an “abusive relationship”, I think it was a fun post about Halo 3 being back on top of the most played games list. There’s no contradiction, since it’s clearly tongue in cheek I would guess. Of course if you want to look at it in the way you have, I would agree that playing Halo 3 and little else is like a “controlling, dominating, and arguably abusive relationship”, so the writer clearly has a good point =^_^=

   i love halo 3 lol but i also love alotta other games it just depends on what i feel like playing and what my friends are playing.
